Fair Croft
Farms has been located in the heart of
beautiful Camden, SC, Hunt Country since
2004. The mission of this private farm was
primarily to provide for rehabilitation of
our competition horses, retirement for
horses that we had previously bred or owned
that could no longer perform at a
competitive level and an occasional rescue.
However, that changed in 2007 when we
rescued a day-old filly that wouldn’t have
survived without intensive care. Watching
this youngster recover and then thrive made
us realize how much we missed having babies
around. Two of our retirees were excellent
broodmare prospects, so all we had to do was
find the right stallions to cross with them
to produce prospects for the Future Event
Horse Series.
As serendipity would have it, USEA had their
first eBay Auction in the Fall of 2008, and
we made the winning bid on both of the
Stallion Services donated by EMCO Stallion
Station.
Now we have the 3 two-year-olds shown as
foals above,
the 4-year-old rescue and 1 yearling shown
below,
and two more planned for 2012.
